The Parrot Heads In Need Fund ( PHIN ) was set up to assist those members of chartered Parrot Head Clubs who lost it all in the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina. At the annual Club Leaders Breakfast at MOTM 2005 the Leaders of the Parrot Head Clubs around the world agreed to keep the PHIN Fund going and to use it for the devastation caused by hurricanes Rita and Wilma and to include any future disasters.

To Date the PHIN Fund has helped Parrot Heads in the following states:
Florida, Louisianna, Mississippi.
